TOPIC: Before You Seek A Grant: A Check List for Nonprofits 

 
This program will help emerging nonprofits identify what needs to be in place before seeking a grant, what you need to know about grantmakers, how nonprofits are supported and how you can use the Grants Resource Center at the library for your grant seeking efforts.

Note: This & all other library programs are introductory in nature and are meant for start up, young nonprofits and those who are new to the field. More advanced nonprofits should check out our training calendar & e-newsletter updates for more appropriate training opportunities.

The Waco-McLennan County Library hosts the Grant Resource Center (GRC) for community nonprofits and McLennan residents. You will find books, journals, and videos addressing nonprofit management, grantwriting, board leadership, fundraising, and much more.

 As a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center of New York,  the Grants Resource Center (GRC) provides free access to two grant search engines.


Hours of Operation for Waco-McLennan County Library: 

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10:00-9:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10:00- 6:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00-5:00 p.m.
